Jan 7, 2013 路 Some race teams you use them to get better spacing for brake cooling and making a wider track on the car. If you run a set of extended studs and a smaller spacer you will have no problems. I have ran spacers on my car for 50k with out loosing a wheel bearing, I don't believe all the hype about it wears out your wheel bearings faster.
Jul 25, 2014 路 Wheel spacers affect track width and suspension geometry. This can result in positive or negative changes to handling. Generally the further out the C/L of the tire is from the stock position (whether by wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with a different offset) the greater moment arm to the suspension components.
Jun 8, 2021 路 Bigger tires are one of the very popular upgrades for your off-roading machine. You can go off-roading with spacers without any trouble if all you need is greater clearance to fit bigger tires or other suspension components. They also increase the track of your vehicle, hence strengthening the grip. As a result, when your off-road vehicle moves

The Spacer size will depend on the wheels you have, the most popular I supply is 15mm front and 20mm rear with an 8" wide wheel (E.g RSTT), if you have the V6 wheel then 20mm front and 25mm rear is ideal as they are 7.5" wide. I run 3/4" spacers on all four wheels of my Mini Countryman. It gives the car a much better-looking stance, and in theory, improves the handling. However, I'm not a skilled enough driver to really notice that. In practice, it may make the handling worse because I've altered the suspension geometry. It certainly puts more stress on the wheel
Mar 4, 2019 路 Too big of a spacer can actually hurt your Mustang more than the wider stance could help performance. Oversized spacers can negatively affect the scrub radius (imagine two lines: one through the center of the tires and another following the angle of the suspension.
